“Don’t lose” - an integrated model of prevention and support in situations of violence and sexual abuse of children was an international project coordinated by the Nobody’s Children Foundation within the European Commission programme “Prevention of and Fight Against Crimes”. The project was 24-month long, it has been running since 1 January 2014 in Poland and Hungary (partner organisation: Kek Vonal) in collaboration with the Warsaw Metropolitan Police and the Education Office in Warsaw. “Don’t lose” was meant as a comprehensive awareness-raising and educational campaign, tackling the problem of sexual exploitation of children and youth. The goal of the project was to prevent violence and sexual abuse of children and providing help to children who experience them.
In order to to disseminate the results of this project among NGOs in Europe we wrote an article in English, summarizing the project, and translated our lesson scenarios, which had been either revised and broadened or developed from scratch within the project.
